When the Korean National Police Museum opened in 2005, it collected and preserved various artifacts from police agencies including
the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, the Korean National Police University, and the Police Human Resources Development Institute.

Since its inception, the museum has constantly collected more relics, resulting in a current collection of 12,000 pieces
relating to domestic and overseas police history and duties.
